Summary

Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime takes place in the imaginary land of Slimenia, with the main action centered around the bustling capital, Boingburg. The story starts with four Slimes—Rocket, Hooly, Bo, and Swotsy—playing outside the castle. Hooly comes into possession of a rare and valuable flute, and when Rocket blows it, Hooly’s father rushes over. To avoid getting caught, Hooly quickly stuffs the flute into Rocket’s mouth. Shortly after, a group called the Plob attacks Boingburg and captures 100 out of its 101 residents. Mistaking Rocket for a worm due to his stretched and elongated form, the Plob tosses him into Forewood Forest. There, Rocket embarks on a quest to save his captured friends, who are trapped inside large treasure chests.
