Dragon Warrior VII

Summary

Dragon Quest VII is the seventh entry in the acclaimed Dragon Quest series of role-playing games and the first in the franchise not to be part of a larger trilogy. It marked the first main series Dragon Quest game to launch outside Japan since Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen was released in North America in 1992, and it was also the final DQ title to use the Dragon Warrior name in the North American market.

Storyline

The game follows the Hero and his companions as they uncover hidden truths about the enigmatic islands that surround their secluded homeland of Estard, the sole landmass in the world. By exploring ancient ruins, they are taken back in time to the histories of islands long gone, where they must confront and overcome evil in each new setting.
