Summary
A director's cut of D features extra cutscenes and trailers, including the preview for D2. The tale unfolds in 1997. It's the middle of the night in Los Angeles when a mass murder occurs at a hospital located on the edge of downtown. The killer is the hospital's director, Richter Harris, who has locked himself inside and taken several patients hostage, leaving law enforcement unable to intervene. Upon learning of the situation, Richter's daughter, Laura Harris, travels from San Francisco to Los Angeles and drives alone to the hospital grounds. As she enters the building, she is mysteriously transported to an ancient mansion, where her father's voice, detached from a body, begs her to turn back. Despite this, she must keep moving forward to rescue both her father and herself.
