Summary
Electroplankton is an interactive music game designed for the Nintendo DS portable gaming system. It lets players engage with animated plankton and compose music using one of ten unique plankton-inspired interfaces. The initial release of Electroplankton in Japan included a set of blue earbud headphones. The game features two distinct modes: Performance and Audience. In Performance mode, players use the stylus, touchscreen, and microphone to interact with the plankton. Audience mode lets players sit back and enjoy an ongoing musical performance by the plankton, though interaction is still possible, just as in Performance mode. Audience mode functions similarly to a demo mode found in other games.
