Summary

The ocean is alive with creatures. Hundreds of real-world species await discovery, from delicate seahorses to massive whales. Is a local fish unwell or acting strangely? Players can check its condition and then use a tranquilizer-like device to administer healing energy to those in need. The game also features a story that players can explore at their own pace. The narrative centers on Oceana, a woman who investigates the *Dragon's Song*, a mystery her father, a renowned oceanographer, was pursuing before he died. While exploring Nine Ball Island, players can befriend a dolphin and teach it new moves. During dives, players can take the dolphin along, using it as a speed boost by holding on for faster swimming. For the first time in the series, players with broadband Internet can connect and dive together using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, communicating with the Wii Speak microphone.
