Summary

Extreme Ghostbusters: Code Ecto-1 (also known as Extreme Ghostbusters in North America) is the second title from Light & Shadow Production and was released for the Game Boy Advance in March 2002. It is often confused with the Extreme Ghostbusters Video Game for the Game Boy Color. The half-human, half-demon Count Mercharior has captured Roland and Garett, two essential members of the Ghostbusters team. The remaining team, Eduardo and Kylie, quickly embark on a mission to rescue them and confront the ghosts threatening to overrun the city. The game blends platforming and shooting elements with occasional racing segments, all viewed from a top-down perspective. It features 12 platform levels spread across four distinct regions. A unique aspect of the game is that ghosts can be either fired upon with the proton gun or captured.
