F-1 Pilot is a Formula 1 racing game published by Pack-In-Video for the PC Engine, and it was never made available outside Japan. This racing title puts players in the driver's seat for an F1 experience. Before each race, players can choose a car, though they all seem to function the same way, differing only in color. The game also allows players to choose between engine sounds or background music, but not both. If a BGM option is selected, all in-game sound effects, such as tire screeches and crash noises, are turned off. The game contains some unusual English phrases, as it was never fully translated into the language. For example, it refers to F1 drivers as "pilots," and the title screen declares the player the "King of Kings."
