Summary

Family Bowling (also known as Wai Wai Bowling in a later version) is a bowling game that starts with two courts—Prism Town and Liberty Planet—12 playable characters (with only four available at the start), and two game modes: - Free or Tournament Mode: In this mode, players can choose from four initial characters—Maki, Kazuhiko, Shota, and Ichika. The player can also set the number of opponents and decide whether they are controlled by the computer or by other players. - Challenge Mode: This mode uses the same characters as Free Mode but focuses on a variety of bowling challenges that the player must complete. As with most bowling games, the gameplay begins with a view of the court where the player selects the shot direction, then the character's stance, and finally the strength and effect of the throw. At the start, the player can customize the bowler's name and choose whether they are right-handed or left-handed. The game supports up to four human players using a single controller (without a multitap) playing simultaneously.
