Summary

FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play is the Wii edition of FIFA 09 and part of EA's All Play line, a collection of titles tailored for the Wii with 500 officially licensed teams. Exclusive features in the All-Play version of FIFA include: Footii Mode, a variation where each team consists of eight players instead of the usual 11, and the characters are styled after the player's Miis. Notable Mii versions include representations of Ronaldinho, Rooney, and other licensed football stars, who serve as team captains and can be unlocked after defeating them in a match. All-Play is a simplified control scheme where the CPU handles player movement on the field, allowing newcomers to focus solely on pressing buttons and using gestures with the Wii Remote, without the need for a Nunchuk. Table Football is a top-down table soccer game featuring 13 characters per team (as opposed to 11 in real table soccer), enhanced by special balls that create chaotic fun, such as an invisible ball or a rocket-powered ball. Boot It is a fast-paced shooting mini-game where players can choose to be a shooter or the goalkeeper in a simultaneous action challenge. New to this release compared to prior Wii versions is the option to use the GameCube Controller or Classic Controller for a more conventional control setup. The Manager mode also includes a user interface designed specifically for the Wii.
