Storyline

The story opens with the arrival of the four young Light Warriors, the central heroes, each in possession of one of the corrupted Orbs. At the start, the Light Warriors can explore the Kingdom of Coneria and the abandoned Temple of Fiends. After rescuing Princess Sara from the wicked knight Garland, King Coneria constructs a bridge allowing the Light Warriors to travel east to the town of Pravoka. There, they free the town from Bikke and his pirate crew, seizing their ship in the process. With their new vessel, the Light Warriors begin a series of delivery missions along the coast of the Aldi Sea. Their first task is to recover a stolen crown from the Marsh Cave for a monarch residing in a ruined castle—revealed to be the dark elf Astos. Defeating him earns them the Crystal Eye, which they give to the blind witch Matoya in return for a special herb needed to awaken the elf prince, who has been cursed by Astos. The elf prince then bestows upon the Light Warriors the Mystic Key, a powerful tool that can open any door. Using the key, they access a hidden storage room in Coneria Castle containing TNT. Nerrick, one of the dwarves from the Cave of Dwarf or Dwarf Village, uses the explosives to blast through a narrow strip of land, linking the Aldi Sea to the outside world.
