Summary

A millennium has passed since the events of the original *Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles*. The shattering of the Yuke Crystal during the Great War, which seemingly wiped out the Yuke Tribe, finally secured the Lilties' dominance over the world. They usher in a new age of science and logic through machines known as "crystal reactors," outlawing magic and ruling over the Clavats and the few Selkies who submit to their new order. In this era of growing imbalance, a rare group of powerful individuals known as "crystal bearers" exists. Their abilities, which resemble magic, have led to widespread fear and rejection from society.
