A PlayStation port of Final Fantasy V that introduces new opening and ending FMV cutscenes, along with gameplay enhancements like the sprint feature. It remains mostly faithful to the Super Famicom version, though the PlayStation's CD-ROM format results in longer loading times compared to the cartridge-based release. In Japan, it was included in the Final Fantasy Collection, while North America and Europe received it only through the Final Fantasy Anthology. This marks the first international release of Final Fantasy V, as the Super Famicom version was exclusive to Japan.
