Summary

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward serves as the inaugural expansion for Final Fantasy XIV Online. In this expansion, the Warriors of Light embark on a journey to Ishgard, a city-state locked in a centuries-old struggle against the dragons of the Dravanian Horde. Will our heroes succeed in uncovering the long-buried secrets of Ishgard’s violent past and help put an end to the Dragonsong War? Can the Warriors of Light rise against the encroaching darkness threatening the realm?

Storyline

Because of treacherous plots lurking in the dark corners of Ul'dah, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn have been driven apart, and the Warrior of Light has had to escape toward the north. Although given refuge by Lord Haurchefant, the heroes must continue their journey to Ishgard. But what challenges lie ahead in this isolated land, mired in an endless battle with dragons? No matter what comes, they must not waver, or the flame of hope may be snuffed out for good.
