Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood

Summary

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood serves as the second expansion for Final Fantasy XIV Online. In this expansion, the Warrior of Light travels to the Gyr Abania area in eastern Aldynn and ventures further to the continent of Othard, freeing the city-states of Ala Mhigo and Doma from the Garlean Empire's control.

Storyline

Following the events of the climax in Heavensward, the Warrior of Light and their allies journey to the war-ravaged region of Gyr Abania, where the city-state of Ala Mhigo is held under the rule of the Garlean Empire. After a devastating setback occurs as a result of the Adventurer's attempts to aid the Ala Mhigan resistance at the hands of Imperial Viceroy Zenos yae Galvus, the Warrior of Light travels east to the land of Orthard to assist in the liberation of the Kingdom of Doma from imperial control. What unfolds is a campaign focused on freeing both Ala Mhigo and Doma from the Empire's grasp.
