Final Match Tennis is undoubtedly the most in-depth tennis game in terms of gameplay on the PC Engine. In fact, its control system is among the most advanced not only for PC Engine titles but for tennis games in general—something that still holds true today. Don't be misled by its straightforward graphics. This game captures every essential aspect of tennis: smashes, stop balls, volleys, backhand and forehand spins, and lobs. On top of that, it supports every possible player configuration you can imagine—training, tournaments, and 1 to 4 players. By the way: it's also one of the greatest multiplayer games ever made.
