Summary

Radiant Dawn is a turn-based strategy RPG and direct follow-up, set three years after the events of *Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance* for the Nintendo GameCube. It introduces new magical abilities, class advancements, weapons, and an overhauled forging system. The game utilizes a slightly enhanced version of the prior engine, resulting in a visual style that closely resembles its predecessor. Some data from the previous game's save file can be carried over, but only from Normal or Hard mode files, as a bug will cause the Wii to freeze if an Easy mode save is detected on the GameCube memory card.

Storyline

Three years have passed since the Mad King's War and the events of *Path of Radiance*. Daein, the nation that started the conflict, and the victorious kingdom of Crimea are still working to recover. The people of Daein suffer under the corrupt senate and imperial military. Now, a small group of rebels fights to bring an end to Daein's long and bitter night of subjugation.
