Summary

A 2D action-platformer that starts in a magical depiction of feudal Japan and journeys through various eras. It first launched on European home computers, but the 1993 SNES version by Kemco was released worldwide.

Storyline

The Demon King comes down from his mountain stronghold to confront you, the First Samurai and his master. Helpless against the Demon's sorcery, you fall under his power, abandoning your Master to face the Demon King alone. Your Master is defeated in battle and dies. But in his final moments, he calls upon the Wizard Mage. Fearing his impending doom, the Demon King flees into the future. Consumed by grief, the young samurai turns to the Wizard Mage to learn the secrets of magic. Fueled by vengeance and wielding a mystical blade, the young samurai pursues the Demon King into the future and into the unknown...
