Summary
Football is a two-player football game played from a top-down perspective of the field. It offers two difficulty levels and three different game modes. Using the joystick, you can choose from five distinct offensive or defensive strategies. In the first game mode, after selecting a play, you take control of the players on the field. The second mode lets you either take control of your players after a play is chosen or let the computer handle their actions. In the third mode, the computer controls the players at all times, and your role is to select the plays you want executed and decide when to punt or pass the ball. In all game modes, the timer starts at five minutes and only runs during plays. Naturally, the team with the highest score when the timer reaches zero is declared the winner!
