Summary

Laid off, broke, and alone, you're at rock bottom when you stumble upon an ad from a woman seeking teachers in Japan. The catch? You know nothing about the country. Despite that, you take the job anyway. To make things worse, you're now stuck with two bizarre spirits for the entire year.

Storyline

The protagonist is an American who's just been laid off and is out of options. The only employment he can land is an English teaching position in Japan, and he takes it despite having no knowledge of the culture or the language. After arriving in this unfamiliar land, he encounters two bizarre spirits who become his constant companions for the next twelve months. Can he endure the year, or will these two otherworldly oddballs push him to the breaking point?
