Summary
Formation Armed F is a vertical scrolling shooter where the core gameplay remains straightforward: blasting waves of aliens while avoiding their attacks. Environmental hazards such as toxic gas and solid barriers add extra challenges. Players can gather power-ups to enhance their ship, including speed boosts and a wide array of weapons. Each of the seven stages features a unique weapon set tailored to the enemies encountered. The only exception is the smaller ships that accompany the main ship, which can be repositioned using a second fire button. The game does not offer continues.
