Summary
Forza Motorsport 4 is a racing video game and the fourth installment in the Forza Motorsport series. Similar to Sony's Gran Turismo series, Forza games are known for their realistic driving simulations, with a strong focus on making the vehicles handle and appear as authentic as possible. The races take place on closed circuits, and the game includes 500 vehicles in its main content, spanning from street-legal cars to full-fledged race cars. Players can use Kinect to look around corners with a new head-tracking function, enabling them to peek at the apex of a turn or check on nearby vehicles. The car is controlled using a standard controller or steering wheel, while Kinect handles the visual perspective independently. Additionally, players can use Kinect as the primary control method. In this mode, the game automatically manages acceleration and braking using an updated version of the Auto Brake feature from Forza Motorsport 3. Steering is achieved by extending the player's arms as if gripping an invisible wheel. Voice commands through Kinect also let players start races and navigate the game's menus.
