Storyline

The protagonist becomes the latest franchisee of the rebranded Fazbear Entertainment Inc., with its main office located in Washington County, Utah. After purchasing the restaurant, the player is given just $100 to outfit their new location. Following the first night, they're prompted to prepare for their "ultimate test"—a major event scheduled for Saturday. Guided by the restaurant's AI, the "Tutorial Unit," the player acquires various decorations, animatronics, and sponsors to enhance and finance the establishment. Beyond managing the restaurant, the player is bound by "Paragraph 4" to perform daily maintenance checks on four haunted and deteriorated animatronics: Scrap Baby, a rebuilt version of Circus Baby made from discarded parts after being expelled from Ennard in the previous game; Molten Freddy, the remains of Ennard with Funtime Freddy as its main head; Lefty, an enigmatic black bear animatronic; and Springtrap (also known as "Scraptrap"), the tattered Spring Bonnie suit housing the undead remains of William Afton, Fazbear's co-founder and a notorious serial killer, who survived the collapse of Fazbear's Fright. The player can either complete the maintenance under the direction of the enigmatic "Cassette Man" before retrieving the animatronics or leave them outside, unless they’ve already acquired a discounted item that allows the animatronics to sneak into the pizzeria. Each night, the player must endure as the salvaged animatronics attempt to end their life.
