Gangnam Style Massacre was a mobile game launched in 2012. It was inspired by PSY's hit song "Gangnam Style," which at the time held the record for the most-watched video on YouTube. In the game, players take on the role of a schoolgirl armed with a bow and arrow, with the objective of shattering a vase perched on top of PSY's head. On December 14, 2012, the game was rebranded and transformed into a completely different title called Gangnam Dance School. This change came after the developer expressed concerns that the original title and setting were too reminiscent of the Sandy Hook Massacre. For the next decade, the original version was considered lost media, until it was rediscovered on June 18, 2022, by user computerdude77. The game is now once again available for download on the Internet Archive.
