Gas Hog

Summary

You're driving a vehicle with terrible fuel economy—a real gas guzzler. As you make your way forward, one or more enemy ships are flying overhead, trying to drop bombs on you. To add to the challenge, there are potholes in the road and other ships you must shoot to avoid crashing into them. As you move, you can speed up or slow down to dodge incoming attacks, but be cautious—there are ships near the ground you could collide with. You can either jump over them or fire to destroy them and earn points. Along the way, you'll also see floating numbers. Collide with them to gain points, but don't shoot them or you'll lose points instead. In Gas Hog, fuel is a major concern—you'll run low quickly. Occasionally, there are holes in the road you can drive through to reach below ground and collect a refuel marker. However, don't stay underground for long, as you'll begin moving in the wrong direction. You begin with four lives, and you'll lose one if you're hit by a bomb, an enemy ship, or if you run out of fuel.
