However, the wizard unleashed a terrible curse, transforming the magicians and the Dragon into frozen gems, which were set into a crown known as the Gemfire. The Gemfire’s magic kept Ishmeria at peace until King Eselred misused its power in his insatiable greed. One fateful night, the Pastha sought help from Princess Robyn, who then stole the crown and cast the gems into the midnight sky. But before she could destroy the Dragon’s ruby, King Eselred captured Robyn and took the crown for himself. In their quest to find a righteous leader, the magicians traveled across the far reaches of Ishmeria. To this day, they continue to resist Eselred’s tyranny. The fate of Ishmeria rests with one true ruler—the one who can reunite the magic of Gemfire.
