Ghostwire

Summary

In *Ghostwire: Link to the Paranormal*, players must locate and capture ghosts trapped in their surroundings using the Nintendo DSi Camera and a ghost tuner to access hidden frequencies beyond regular Wi-Fi. Each spirit, shadow, and demon possesses a unique personality, making the process of discovering and "resolving" them far from simple. Some are timid, others malevolent, and a few will only respond if you offer them what they desire. Additionally, elements such as the time of day and lighting conditions will test your ghost-hunting skills, but a variety of upgradable tools are available to aid you in making contact with the supernatural realm.

Storyline

Ghostwire is a collectible and adventure game where you use your handheld device to connect with ghosts. Your portable device acts as a gateway to the astral plane, allowing you to discover and collect spirits hidden throughout your surroundings. As you explore, you'll use real-world tools like the camera and microphone, along with supernatural instruments such as an "EMF tuner" to locate ghosts. When you encounter the spirits, you record them and uncover the reasons behind their lingering presence. They also present you with puzzles to solve. In the end, you help them achieve peace.
