Go Fish! is an original title inspired by the Intellivision game Shark! Shark! In this game, you play as a tiny fish trying to survive by consuming smaller fish to grow. But beware—the shark is also prowling for prey, and you could end up on his menu! Go Fish! includes continuous background music (with a toggle to silence it for those who prefer a quiet fishing experience), and also offers a two-player battle mode. Go Fish! is among the earliest homebrew games to support Richard Hutchinson's AtariVox. By utilizing the AtariVox, Go Fish! can store your high score, which remains saved even after turning off your Atari 2600. When you return to play later and power up your console, your high score will be right where you left it! Programmer Bob Montgomery partnered with AtariAge to host an art contest for Go Fish!. The winning label design by Renato Brito will be featured on all copies of Go Fish!, along with the full-color manual crafted by Tony Morse. The game is available as a cartridge through the AtariAge Store.
