Summary
Gran Turismo 4 Prologue is a racing video game from the Gran Turismo series. This abbreviated version was released before the full Gran Turismo 4 in 2004. For unknown reasons, it was not made available in North America. Although the number of vehicles and tracks had to be limited, the game still included key elements of the Gran Turismo series such as competitive races, time attack modes, and licensing tests. The preview also showcased the latest advancements Polyphony Digital had developed over the previous two years. Including 50 of the 500 planned cars for GT4 and five tracks, this expanded demo served as a temporary offering until the full game's release.
