Storyline

Candidate Twelve, a character never given a name, reports for duty at the Black Mesa Research Facility. The building is plagued by flickering lights and malfunctioning electrical systems, while tremors rattle its halls, causing the scientists to grow increasingly concerned about the ongoing experiment. Upon boarding a tram, the catastrophic "resonance cascade" erupts, thrusting Candidate Twelve into a desperate battle for survival, all under the watchful eye of the G-Man.
