Summary

Battle fiercely in online multiplayer with the full roster of *Halo 3* maps, plus three brand-new war-torn arenas, and team up in Firefight, an exciting co-op mode where you and your squad face relentless waves of Covenant enemies.

Storyline

Set in the Kenyan coastal metropolis of New Mombasa, ODST chronicles the struggle of a team of high-caliber Marine Orbital Drop Shock Troopers during the Covenant's assault on Earth on October 20, 2552. After being thrown off course by the Mombasa Slipspace Incident, these five ODSTs, guided by an ONI officer, battle through the debris-littered, war-torn city to regroup, avoid Covenant forces, and carry out a classified operation. The game takes place immediately following the events of the Halo 2 mission Metropolis, where the Prophet of Regret initiates a slipspace jump in New Mombasa.
