Summary

This edition of the game takes a similar route to its predecessor, with Hogwarts presented as an open world you can freely explore between completing the key missions that drive the story forward. The major shift this time is the inclusion of Ron and Hermione as playable characters, giving you control of all three members of the trio. Each has unique abilities, and depending on the platform, you may or may not have the option to switch between them at will. Another notable change is the absence of Quidditch, which has been replaced by flying on Buckbeak to fulfill the game’s aerial gameplay needs. Possibly because the source material is more emotionally driven and less action-packed, The Stations of the Canon are largely only briefly touched upon.
