Summary

Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai is a rhythm-based game and a side entry in the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series of Vocaloid music games. Much like its predecessors, the game mainly utilizes Vocaloids, a line of singing synthesizer software, with tracks created using these tools, especially those featuring the iconic virtual idol Hatsune Miku. The game presents unique character designs, with all characters depicted in a Nendoroid-style, super-deformed look, different from the main series. The core gameplay, centered around the music mode, employs what the game refers to as the "Chance Circle System." Buttons appear along the edge of a circular interface, and a pointer extends from the center of the circle outward. As the pointer spins clockwise or counterclockwise in sync with the music, players must press the corresponding face button on the 3DS when the pointer passes over a button. Much like the main series, the player's timing precision is evaluated using a familiar rating system displayed at the bottom of the screen. Unlike the Project DIVA series, this game does not include an Edit Mode, and the traditional DIVA Room has been replaced by the My Room mode, where players can interact with their character modules in a personalized space.
