Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Arcade is an arcade rhythm game that serves as a remastered version of the 2009 title, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA, featuring enhanced visuals. The core gameplay remains largely unchanged from the original. The traditional PlayStation buttons—cross, circle, square, and triangle—have been adapted to the four large buttons on the arcade machine's panel, which players press to perform. In contrast to the handheld versions, players can now hold one or more buttons for an extended period when prompted by the game, earning a bonus that continuously boosts the score until the button is released or a "Max Hold Bonus" is achieved. Additionally, the arcade version allows for simultaneous presses of up to all four buttons. The game includes tracks from the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series and Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai, as well as a range of original songs not found in the handheld releases. The promotional videos displayed in the background during gameplay have been updated and re-rendered, closely resembling the Dreamy Theatre versions of the PVs.
