Storyline

Earth is on the brink of invasion by an enigmatic life-form known as "Cancer." The weapons humanity has created so far have proven useless against it. With no defenses left to stop the threat, humanity suffered a devastating defeat. Cities were left in ruins, nations vanished, and much of the planet now lies under Cancer’s dominion. With time running out and the threat of extinction looming, humanity devised a new weapon—the ultimate weapon: "Seraph." Only those who wield a Seraph can inflict real harm on the Cancer. Humanity gathered those skilled in Seraph control and formed the Seraph Corps as its final line of defense. All those capable of using Seraphs shared one common trait: they were young women with exceptional abilities. Ruka Kayamori is one of them. And so, she joins the fight against the Cancer.
