Summary

Hokuto no Ken for the Family Computer, commonly known as Famicom, is a side-scrolling action video game published by Toei Animation and developed by Shouei Systems. It launched on August 10, 1986, and was available only in Japan, marking the first of four Hokuto no Ken titles released for the Famicom. Although it shares gameplay elements with Sega's earlier Mark III version of Hokuto no Ken, it is a separate game created by a different development team.

Storyline

In the year 199X, the world was engulfed in nuclear fire... The journey to confront Ken-oh, the Conqueror of the End of the Century, will be a long and arduous one. Blocking Kenshiro's path are Heart, the ruthless killer; Shin, the warrior of Nanto Sei Ken; Jagi, Kenshiro's wicked stepbrother; and Souther, the mightiest fighter of Nanto Sei Ken. To overcome the Ken-oh, Raoh, Kenshiro must master the hidden techniques of Hokuto Shin Ken.
