What does this game involve? Reach the well using only a grappling hook Fail You won't lose everything from a single misstep Master the art of dodging hazards by leaping, swinging, and maneuvering Fail again Use your keyboard to move and your mouse to launch the hook Get better The trailer shows only actual gameplay, aside from a few quick cuts and the text at the end. That’s what you see, that’s how it plays. (Fair warning—I did speed up the lava in one part, but you probably don’t want that.) There are just over 40 levels at launch, with varying lengths. The time it takes to complete each one depends heavily on your skill. Your progress is saved after each level. You can use the level select to replay any stage or return to your furthest checkpoint. The positives. You should get this game if: -You enjoy a challenge- This is a tough game, and most people won’t finish it. But the difficulty is fair—if you fall, it’s because you made a mistake. -You love grappling hooks- This hook is more responsive and dynamic than in many others. You have control, but you’ll need to learn its quirks. -You appreciate piano music- You’ll be hearing the same track on loop if you keep falling. -You want a game that pushes you- Even if just for a while. The negatives. Skip this game if: -You want a story- There’s no narrative to speak of. -You expect dialogue- There’s no text beyond the title screen and menus. -You struggle with failure- But I know you can make it. Keep trying. Growth mindset.
