Summary
Hoshi no Furu Toki is a modern-day otome game centered around Akane Hasekura, a second-year high school girl.
Storyline
When Hasekura Akane was just ten years old, a mysterious and enchanting woman gifted her a gleaming shard of a jewel. In the next instant, both the woman and the jewel vanished, and convinced it had all been a dream, Akane let it fade from her memory. Seven years slipped by. Now seventeen and a second-year high school student, Akane finds the jewel fragment glowing in her hand whenever a boy stirs her heart. Along with it comes an eerie sensation of being watched. The source of this is the wielder of a dark gem, which stands in opposition to Akane’s radiant shard. It is said that in two weeks, a comet will pass overhead, and the dark gem will awaken its power, casting the world into shadow. Strange and enigmatic figures begin to surround Akane because of the two gems. Will she experience true love or face betrayal? Can Akane protect the world from the encroaching darkness?
