Summary

Hot Shots Golf 2 is the follow-up to the PlayStation title Hot Shots Golf. Though it shares many similarities with its predecessor, the sequel introduces several enhancements to the series. As in the original, players can choose from a variety of characters, with even more becoming available as the game progresses. Each character possesses unique strengths and weaknesses, making your choice more strategic than just a cosmetic change. The character designs in this installment take on a more realistic look, a shift from the exaggerated, anime-style big-head designs of the first game. The game features multiple play modes, including traditional options like stroke play, match play, and tournaments, as well as the 'vs. mode,' which offers a path to unlocking new characters. The gameplay follows the familiar 'tap-tap-tap' control scheme commonly used in most golf titles.
