Hugo: Black Diamond Fever is a 3D platformer in the Hugo series created by ITE Media and released by Electronic Arts in 2001 for PC and PlayStation. The wicked Scylla has returned, and this time she's discovered a way to become the most powerful sorceress in history and conquer the world. To achieve her goal, she needs extremely rare black diamonds hidden on a jungle island inhabited by the Kikurians. She captures the entire tribe and forces them into relentless labor to find the diamonds. The wise King Kikurian pleads with Hugo the troll to rescue the captives and thwart Scylla’s scheme before it's too late. When Fernando receives a message from King Kikurian, Hugo reads it and discovers the poor monarch locked in a cell, helpless to aid his people, leaving Hugo no time to lose. Can Hugo free the prisoners and stop Scylla’s dangerous plan?
