Summary

In this vertical scrolling space shooter, you pilot a ship capable of switching its polarity on command. In blue or white mode, your ship can effortlessly eliminate red or black enemies, and the reverse is also true. Collect bullets that match your current polarity to fill your energy meter, but those of the opposing color will destroy you. When you destroy an enemy, it fires retaliatory bullets that you can absorb and turn into powerful counterattacks. The game offers varying difficulty levels that alter how you interact with polarized elements or how they behave. It serves as a spiritual follow-up to Radiant Silvergun, sharing similar stage and boss design, along with its Buddhist-inspired themes and visual style. Both games were directed by Hiroshi Iuchi, who also composed the soundtrack for Ikaruga.
