Ishin no Arashi

Summary

Ishin no Arashi debuted in 1988 and is set during the final days of the Tokugawa Shogunate. In the game, players take on the role of one of 12 historical figures, including Ryouma Sakamoto, Kaishuu Katsu, and Takamori Saigou. The objective is to lead Japan toward liberation by employing both diplomacy and coercion to bring the 13 domains under a single vision—be it allegiance to the shogunate, the emperor, or the will of the people.
