Storyline

Urashima is a remote island, far from the Japanese mainland. A true paradise, it is rich in natural beauty. Yet beneath its serene surface lies a troubled history, one that is slowly fading into obscurity. Soot blight syndrome, a persistent and devastating illness, has created a deep divide between the island and the mainland. A marine research platform built offshore has long been abandoned, and five years ago, three tragic incidents nearly brought the once-powerful Three Families of Urashima to their knees. Whispers of children vanishing into the night have become part of the island’s folklore, along with an ancient tale that has been passed down for generations… “Let me share the legend of this place: it is a tale of sorrowful love…” The fate of the island may rest in the hands of three girls, each from one of the Three Families. Alone, they cannot alter Urashima’s destiny, but perhaps with the aid of a mysterious young man who has just arrived on the shore, they can. Claiming to have traveled through time, the man begins a solitary journey, defying the island’s traditions and striving to reshape the future. But his mission extends beyond that… What impact will his arrival have on the three girls, the island’s future, and the fate of the world itself?
