Summary

Jackal, also known as Top Gunner, is a top-down run-and-gun shooter developed by Konami and released as an arcade game in 1986. In the game, players control a jeep equipped with weapons, navigating through enemy territory to rescue captured prisoners of war (POWs).

Storyline

The Jackal unit is a top-tier squad of four soldiers who have endured intense training to thrive in any conditions. The team includes Colonel Decker, Lieutenant Bob, Sergeant Quint, and Corporal Grey. Their objective is to drive two armed jeeps into enemy territory to rescue and evacuate POWs.
