The PlayStation edition of the game includes several key distinctions from its Nintendo 64 version: it is built on a modified Medal of Honor engine and includes 11 missions compared to the N64's 14, with some missions exclusive to each platform. Missions that are similar—typically those adapted from the film—often play out in different ways, using entirely different tools and weapons. It also lacks extra objectives in higher difficulty settings, and only cheats are activated by completing certain missions at specific difficulty levels. On the plus side, it offers CD-quality audio for music and voice acting, along with movie clips used for cutscenes. The PlayStation version is strictly single-player and does not include any multiplayer features.
