Summary
JESUS: Kyoufu no Bio Monster is a version of the popular PC game Jesus adapted for the Famicom. Certain adjustments were made to the story progression and dialogue—for instance, in the PC version you can choose your partner for the second half of the story, but in the Famicom version, this character is set to Elline. Additionally, some mature-themed visuals and scenes were altered or omitted to suit the younger audience typical of Famicom users.
Storyline
In the year 2061, a crewed space expedition was set for Halley’s Comet as it once again approached Earth. A multinational team from eight nations was formed and divided into two spacecraft, named the "Nebula" and the "Corona," launching from the Space Station Jesus. One of the mission’s key goals was to gather gas samples from the comet’s tail. These samples were not only intended to advance the fields of materials science and astronomy, but also to investigate the hypothesis that life on Earth might have originated from comets. The discoveries made by the crew could have unraveled one of biology’s final mysteries. However, just after the Nebula began collecting gas from the comet, communication from the spacecraft suddenly ceased.
