Summary
Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns is an 8-bit adaptation of Tiertex's Strider II for the Game Gear and Master System. The Game Gear version of Journey from Darkness: Strider Returns is the final Returns port to be released. Instead of being based on the original or the Mega Drive version, it closely mirrors the Master System port, as the Game Gear's hardware is more similar to the Master System. It does include some subtle programming adjustments and a few minor modifications as well.
