Juiced is a racing video game developed for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and mobile devices. Its 2004 release was postponed when the original publisher, Acclaim, filed for bankruptcy. Juice Games and Fund 4 Games retained control of the title and later sold it to THQ, who provided funding for an additional six months of development. In early 2006, British publisher Focus Multimedia reissued the PC version of Juiced at a reduced price as part of its "Essential" game lineup. The game includes multiple modes, such as career and arcade, offering players progressively challenging objectives. Players can personalize their vehicles to match their playstyle and earn new cars through arcade mode. It also includes nitrous oxide boosts, a feature common in many racing titles. Juiced topped the UK MCV sales charts and sold 2.5 million copies of its initial release.
The game features four distinct racing styles: circuit (traditional multi-lap racing), point-to-point (single-lap races), sprint (drag-style races), and showoff (time-based challenges). The player’s reputation changes based on victories and defeats, and they earn rewards for increasing their standing.
