K-Razy Shoot-Out is a clone of the arcade game Berzerk, created by K-Byte, a subsidiary of Kay Enterprises, and launched for the Atari 8-bit family in 1981. The game was developed by Torre Meeder and Dr. Keith Dreyer. A version for the Atari 5200 was released in 1983. The title is part of a series of games featuring the "K-" prefix, such as K-Razy Kritters and K-Star Patrol. All were released on cartridge. Later, CBS Software took over the distribution of K-Byte titles, including the Atari 5200 version of K-Razy Shoot-Out.
