Summary
Kato & Ken Detective Agency has been given the job of tracking down a missing wealthy individual, and you get to choose whether Kato or Ken takes the lead on the assignment. Your partner is less than thrilled about this arrangement and decides to cause trouble throughout the journey. Much like Adventure Island, you'll progress through multiple stages, eliminating various creatures in the environment. Instead of a hammer, you have three methods of dispatching them: jump on them, kick them, or if they're on the ground, blow gas from them. As you move through the level, your health will slowly deplete, but you can recover it by picking up fruits and fast food. During your adventure, you'll also run into your partner doing inappropriate things in public, and occasionally he'll throw objects at you to damage your health. The only way to handle him is by giving him a well-placed kick. Throughout your journey, you can open doors, which will provide hints about the level and also restore some of your health. You can also kick objects like streetlights, trash bins, or even empty space to earn coins or reveal hidden platforms. These coins can be used in slot machines that offer additional health, extra lives, more coins, and other rewards. Slot machines only appear after you enter specific doors.
