Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run is an officially licensed arcade baseball title starring MLB legend Ken Griffey Jr. Launched in 1996, the game includes all 28 MLB teams and their logos from that era, with player rosters using fictional names—Ken Griffey Jr. being the sole real-life athlete featured. In addition to exhibition play, the game offers several competitive modes. The MLB Challenge lets players begin with a weak squad and battle through each major league team to climb the rankings. Other modes include the full World Series, All-Star games, and the MLB League. In the league options, up to eight players can select a team and play through a season consisting of 26, 52, or 162 games. Between matches, players can adjust lineups and rotations, and make trades.
